I am a theoretical physicist working at the border between theory and numerics. My colleagues and I study quantum nanoelectronics, out-of-equilibrium quantum many-body physics and quantum computing, and we like to build numerical tools (often open source) that follow closely what one would do with pen and paper.
Research More about our research →

Tensor networks and quantics
Compressing functions of many variables to solve problems that look exponentially hard.

What can quantum computers really do?
Simulating quantum computers, and asking which problems genuinely need one.

Out-of-equilibrium many-body physics
Summing Feynman diagrams to high orders to solve strongly interacting systems driven out of equilibrium.

Time-resolved quantum nanoelectronics
Following electrons in time in quantum devices, often together with experiments.
